Stopped up ears driving me crazy?
I'm 19 years old, and for the past year, I've been getting sinus infections and colds. Every time my proboscis gets a little runny, my ears clog up. At first I tried to flush my ears out, but nothing changed, presently I know it's my Eustachian tubes and the fluid around them is causing me to go somewhat deaf. I feel approaching I'm in a bucket... I don't know what to do about it anymore. I just go to my regular doctor day before yesterday, and there is apparently nought he can do. But since these infections are chronic ( I get them every 5 months..) my life pretty much gets put on hold. I can narrowly hear anything anyone says, and my ears will stay clogged for at least a week or two. It's unbearable. I hold to go to class, but I can't keep asking my professors to stop in the middle of their lectures to repeat everything they articulate.
I know that young kids can have tubes put in their ears, but what roughly the rest of us? Is there any reason for me to look into an ear, nose and throat doctor? I have planned on making an appointment on Monday, but is there any likelihood that anything can be done about my constantly clogged ears?

They can put tubes in your ears in the doctors department, of a Eye, Ear and Throat MD. I know how you feel, I had the same problem, but have tubes put in my ears this year, and it was such a great help.
