How to acquire around an oral allergy? How to cope near itchy throat?
I recently found out why my throat/ears get soooo itchy when I eat some fruits, and it's because I enjoy apparently an "oral allergy" to pollen n stuff.
This is, I really really love eating things like canteloupe and other fruits/veggies; but the itchiness gets so discouraging that I nearly cry!
Is there anyway to kind of avert this without completely drugging myself up?
Or at lowest possible the best ways to get rid of the itchy throat after eating them?
Best Answer: I used to have oral allergy syndrome to nearly adjectives raw fruits and vegetables. Even getting watermelon juice on my skin made me break out in a impetuous. I went to an allergist and had desensitization shots for my pollen allergies. After being on the shots for five years, my allergy to lightly cooked fruits and vegetables went away! Now I can eat salad and watermelon with no problems.
