why do we bring chalazions?-lumps on eyelids not sty's?
I have been getting chalazions for a long time now but mine are not big they are small and stinging , i went to the doctors and they said give it 2 weeks i do and they go but i am getting them adjectives the time now ! what can i do ? and why do i get them ? is makeup the cause?
Best Answer: They are cysts cause by inflammation of blocked glands. Warm compresses can ease the oils that cause the chalazions. These should be done for just about 15 minutes 4 times everyday. Dampen a towel with hot water but not too hot. Some people are more susceptible to chalazions than others, the result in is usually oil so makeup is not avisable if you are getting them regualrly, trying not to rub your eyes too much can prevent reoccurance as well as bathing the eyes with eye wash. Good hygiene is key to prevention, make sure you dont share makeup and always clean up your hands before touching your eyes.
