How does celiac affect what you use for cosmetics and shampoo and soaps?
Best Answer: When I was diagnosed, I noticed that my shampoo and conditioner have wheat protein in them and my soap was an oatmeal soap (and oatmeal is generally contaminated next to wheat) - so since there is a particular type of dermatitis associated with celiac disease (as celiac is not of late an internal thing) I opted to not use these products anymore. I switched to some natural products which did not contain wheat or oats and I thought the more natural products would be better for my system anyway since I am not penetrating on using things with parabens and petrochemicals in them (this is not about celiac as much as it is almost just trying to lead a healthier vivacity in general)
