will drinking alcohol act in response near my albuterol inhaler?
I have asthma and I was wondering if I'm drinking vodka or any other stuff and need to use my inhaler, will the alcohol act in response negatively with my inhaler containing albuterol?
Best Answer: No. The albuterol acts on the beta-2 receptors in the smooth muscle cell in the lungs, so your airways open up. The alcohol will affect your central like a cat on hot bricks system as a depressant. Two different systems entirely.
