is near anyway to be allergic to acai berries?
is there anyway acai berries can be life treating? im 13 years old and lately ordered a bottle of acai berrys and was wondering if it can be deadly or just a middle-of-the-road allergic reaction like hives or something please tell me
Best Answer: Well sure, it's in theory possible to be allergic to any food. But something like 90 percent of food allergies are to seven ingredients common in most people's diets, namely eggs, dairy, wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, fish and shellfish. It's unlikely you're allergic to such a singular ingredient unless you have a lot of other food allergies. Have you had liquid with acai in it? If you didn't have any spontaneous effect, you probably won't be allergic. And anyway, if you are, the reaction will probably be something like hives, and itchy mouth and throat, or an upset stomach. Going into anaphylactic shock (the most serious reaction) would be a very, highly, very rare occurrence. If you're worried, try drinking for a while acai juice first (they sell some nice blends in the grocery store, the V-8 fusion one is in actuality really good) and if you have no reaction, you're good to budge!
