can i still recieve the hepititis b vaccine?
i am going back to the doctor tommrrow for a regular check up. i got the 1st hepitits b shot in august so its 9 moths subsequent will they still give me the second shot even though your sapposed to get it only 4 moths following?

So your physician may choose to go ahead and give you the second shot, then make available you the third shot at least 8 weeks later. This, of course, is entirely up to your physician. Different doctors own different opinions on subjects like this!

Longer intervals between doses of the HBV vaccines (there are a few different vaccines) does not affect the seroprotection rates of the vaccine according to the research*. If your doctor seems concerned roughly this, have him call the local public health clinic/vaccine clinic to obtain more information.
