Did I block herpes ?
I was at a bar having a cup of wine by myself. The only other person was this 72 yr. infirm man. We made small talk. I finished my glass of wine got tipsy and he offered me a sip of his Australian merlot.
Normally I wouldn't but becuz i be tipsy I took a very small sip out of this person's glass.
Can I catch any such as herpes by sharing a drinking cup next to a complete stranger ?

You would be more likely to bring oral herpes if you kissed the guy on the mouth while he had an out break of cold sores, which are caused by oral herpes. Oral herpes likes skin to skin contact, approaching kissing or giving oral sex during an out break to be passed on. Oral herpes is very contagious during an out break. Oral herpes is less contagious, but still slightly able to be passed on when within are no signs of an out break.
