Best Answer: yeast infections aren't a big deal at adjectives no worries! it doesn't have anything to do with sex, it can happen if you're contained by a wet bathing suit for too long or just other stuff like that. probability are it'll happen to every girl at some point. i've never had one but i know tons of people who own, they're totally common and nothing to be afraid of. they're not deadly. but they hurt close to crap and you need to get rid of them... just make clear to your mom: "hey, can i talk to you?" and then just speak it straight out: "i think i have a yeast infection". you'll go take some medication and it'll go away in a few days. no biggie =] although since it's your first time dealing with this you might want to jump to the gynocologist (female doctor) just to make sure it's actually a yeast infection. you're going to be fine! newly make sure you tell your mom and you get some medication for it. don't verbs, your mom is a girl too and has probably had this happen to her. she'll get the drift and be more than willing to help.
