support me beside my urine tryout results please?
am a 21 yr old female.i got my urine tryout results as follows
color: colourless
appearance : slightly turbid
specific gravity : 1.010
reaction: acidic
albumin : +
sugar: not detected
acetone : negative
bile salt : negative
bile pigment : negative
urobilinogen : negative
puscells : 25-30 cells/HPF
RBC : occassional
epithelial : plenty
germs : ++
crystals: nil
casts : nil
flagellates : nil
others :nil
any problem due to albumin?

Best Answer: the abnormalities in ur report are 1) Specific Gravity which is smaller quantity, Normal is 1.012 to 1.024 2) Albumin which needs to be negative 3) Pus cells, markedly high which needs to be 4 to 5 4) RBCs occasional which needs to be refusal though its considered normal in females 5) Epithelia plenty again which needs to be smaller quantity than 5 6) Bacteria ++ suggestive of infection This is a clear cut case of Urinary tract infection.. thats is the reason why its showing plenty of pus cells, epithelial cell and RBCs.. Regarding Albumin, it becomes positive in UTI, its not actually because of albumin itself, but due to other proteins which get dislodged in urine... Do not worry about that, After ur UTI is successfully treated it will become glum.. get a test done after 2 weeks of treatment and see What i would suggest is Get a Urine Culture and Sensitivity done and Based on that start appropriate antibiotics which has to be taken for 1 ccomplete week, Sometimes if it does not get hold of resolved for 2 weeks... Drink plenty of fluids, Fruits, and have a healthy nutritious diet for quick taking back
