After the TB test what does a redness with no bump the size of a quarter system?
I've heard that is the bump that matters for the results not the reddishness,
is this true?
Best Answer: A TB skin test is read by evaluating the size of an induration. Induration is swelling. Redness doesn't count, doesn't matter. Only induration has any position.

The redness is probably just from getting the shot. If you have be exposed to TB, there will be a bump. No bump, no TB. But, if in doubt, maybe ask a doctor.Related Questions...
