Best Answer: My Dr put me on Xenical when it could only be given by prescription. I was his first patient to step on it. I've been on it for 9 yrs and lost 70 lbs. My cholesterol dropped from over 350 to 154 because this prevents the absorption of fat. Not adjectives the fat you take in but a well-mannered amount. True, I had breast cancer, but so did a lot of women in my relations. When I was diagnosed, 5 other women in my family be diagnosed the same time. It's in our genes and the Alli had nil to do with it. It is the only over the counter diet pill approved by the FDA. It's up to you. You decide what you want but I believe beside all my heart, this will not give you cancer. If I thought for 1 second that I would get cancer from this, I'd stop taking it within a heartbeat.
