Salt water will help treat your body, but if it is cracked and bleeding it is going to sting. You will have to soak it for awhile before it can penetrate overpoweringly. You might try tea tree oil. You can buy it at Trader Joe's and probably any health food store. This might sting too. I would use a Q tip or cotton ball to swab the areas that are a problem. Wearing undo shoes (like sandals) will help your feet to breath and clear the infection faster. Make sure you stuff crumpled up newspaper into your tennis shoes to draw out the moisture. Leave it contained by overnight and then let the shoes breath the next afternoon as far open as you can get them. Athletes foot and bacterial infections like a melt moist atmosphere. Getting rid of these optimum conditions will help get rid of the problem. Also be sure to wear only cotton socks and amendment them every day. Go barefoot as much as possible (indoors), and wear flip flops or sandals outside. How do you loosen throat mucus minus vomiting?
I respect your Dad's opinion regarding innate remedies for athletes foot as well as many other conditions. There are a number of things you can do for yourself minus needing to go to the expense and inconvenience of visiting a doctor. Doctors will pass you creams and lotions which don't deal with the cause of athletes foot, they simply mask the symptoms. Using their methods it can take 1-3 months of using medical creams to eventually be rid of it. I am concerned that what you are describing is a nail fungus which is a more severe form of athletes foot. When athletes foot spreads to the toenails, the nail become discoloured and brittle and can eventually fall out. Its harder to get rid of athletes foot that is beneath the toenails because the remedies can't get in there as effectively to do their work. I enjoy been researching the causes, spread and cures for athletes foot and have put together an eBook on the subject. There are several remedies you could use which are easy and really work quickly. These remedies are safe and will not impair your foot in any way. Several of these remedies are especially suitable for nail fungus. So if you you hold Athletes Foot, why not check out the remedies and information I have put together. If it is Athletes Foot and you use these remedies it will be gone in DAYS!!
