I'm a short time ago wondering.. Did you enjoy sex ed classes surrounded by university ?
This is the first time I've answered a question in STD's, I followed a link from the front page. As a nurse, I'm surprised at the misinformation some question reveal. Don't get me wrong, I'm not laughing at them, I think it's great to have a place to go and get more adequate info.
I'm just curious as to how old you are and if here were sex ed classes in your school ??
Best Answer: In California, the state standards construct it so children get a very basic overview in the order of "sex ed" starting in 5th grade, it basically go over the basics of puberty. Then throughout 6th-8th you get a more in depth study on puberty, genitals, anatomy of the privates, pregnancy, drugs, sexual intercourse, STD's, etcetera. High Schools are required to enjoy a Core/Health class where they teach basic first aid, standard life skills, information about marriage, std's, pregnancy, sexual protection, self-denial, etcetera. This ninth grade class is required, and one must pass to graduate high arts school in california. Hope this helps!

I am 13 and in the eighth grade. In 5th position, we watched a video about level 1 puberty, (armpit hair/smell, pubic down, sperm) and we got free deoderant etc. lol. And next thursday a lady is going to come to my institution to talk about std's and sex and they are gonna show us pictures of dicks with stds and how to prevent them during sex, in attendance is even a rumor about them giving us condoms for free but idk yet. But we dont really have sex ed class its only like 1 day things....
