What should I get through...i'm diabetic?

I'm a type 1 insulin dependent diabetic...what should I eat? I would like an entire day please!
Best Answer: My thoughts are that you should toss processed foods, glorious carb foods and drinks, and eat fresh veggies and fruit along with protein. You need to guzzle the number of carbs your doc and nutritionist allow. What you can/should eat for a entire day would depend totally on your carb allowance. That is what you plan your meals and snacks by. If you are fresh to diabetes you will find out that each and every diabetic is different with different requirments for food and meds. What might work for someone else who is type 1, may not work at all for you. That is why it is major to work closely with your doc and nutritionist. Good Luck.
