please aid me ans this...=(?
im,diabetes Type 1,ans still very blur about being hypo.. i read frm articles, glucose smooth that is around 2-3mmol/L is considered hypo.
however in my case, when my bg is around 5-6mmol/L, i already start to grain shaky,cold,no energy.. these r symptoms of hypo rite? why is my body reacting this way, even my bg isnt that low. does it vary according to individuals?
have this ever occur to u?

What you are feeling is common for people who are starting to carry better control of their glucose levels. It will take some period of time to draw from adjusted. When you feel low, shaky, dizzy and so on, be sure to measure your glucose level before you eat anything, to be sure it really is low. If the level is everyday, try to avoid eating anything. You have to give your body a accident to get adjusted to the normal level. One other thought, however, if you have access to another glucose meter - at your doctor's office, from a friend, or you happen to enjoy more than 1, it would be useful to check with the second meter right after you have checked next to your own meter. Answer: I used to have that problem when I was young and my BG's be not in very good control. They run high most of the time, between 130-200, and whenever I would drop below 100 I would start feeling hypo. Work with a diabetes schoolteacher to stabilize your BG's and you will start feeling hypo at the appropriate times. Good BG control also helps people who don't perceive symptoms soon enough.
