Thinning of one artery of the heart?
My one of the artery of the heart is thin - but the blood flow on the heart is fine - i am very shortness of breath even i try take any mental or physical stree , it is difficult for me to climb a stair covering without getting shortness of breath and i often get heavyness contained by my chest and sometimes i feel discomfort in the middle of my chest - can a doctor suggest what is the next step i should lug care of besides taking regular medicines - i am a very diabetic on insulin taking 170.unit of insulin divided into 4 times a day , i feel very tired metally depressed , dont quality like taking any job with metal stress - Please guidance
Best Answer: Which tests have you had? You should hold had at least an ECG, chest X-ray, echo and exercise stress ECG and conceivably angiography / stress echo if indicated. If these tests have confirmed that near is no restriction in blood flow to your heart, then it shouldn't really be angina. Do you have any other cardiac or pulmonary problems? Diabetes is markedly a risk factor for cardiovascular disease, providing this is being well managed, the risk is reduced. How ripened are you? Are you overweight? What medication are you taking? Are you hypertensive? Can you re-edit please. You really need to explain your problems to your GP and he can arrange for further appropriate tests. Life style changes which you can get of course include; if you smoke stop, exercise and eat healthily. I suspect you are feeling down and depressed because you be aware of breathless all the time.
