Do I still enjoy strep throat (finished medication close to a week ago)?
So a couple weeks ago I had strep, went to the doc, and I got medication (amoxycilin, or something close to that). Took all the meds in a span of 10 days like I'm supposed to. Then my throat looked usual again. But this week, the white spots showed up again and my throat is red and kinda swollen. I have no fever, I don't feel sick. There's no anguish or discomfort in my throat. BUT, the couple of days before I went on meds and still have strep, I kissed my boyfriend because he kept saying he wasn't going to get sick so I go ahead and kiss him. Could it be possible that he have the strep bacteria all this time and gave it to me after I get done my meds?
Best Answer: I have similar problem. I'm on my third set of antibiotics. Never kissed no one though, so I don't know whats going on.
