Getting rid of Pimples!?
Im really really tired of getting pimples!
So last June (2008) I bought Proactiv and started using it everyday for about a month! It worked really good, though I still own a few.. I only used it for like a month, and then stopped. BAD IDEA, I know!!
So Im starting to use it again everyday, and Im hoping that this will go and get rid of my acne for good!! I dont have full out acne, just some pimples and blackheads on my chin and a few other places on my facade.. Do you think that Proactiv will work If I use it everyday consistently?
Also, If you use/used proactiv, did it work?
And do you know any tips to stop getting pimples?!
I dont eat like abundantly of junk food or anything, as I am cutting down and have big time! I do break out at a clear in your mind time of the month (if you know what I mean.. lol) and is there anyway you can stop that?

Best Answer: I was once close to you but now i'm not, simply because i went to the dermatologist and he perscribed me a pill and i will tell you almost it: I have tried stuff like proactiv, AMBI, Neutrogena,clean and clear and other acne products and adjectives proactiv did was make my pimples worse after i stopped using it and the rest did NOTHING!! Like you I was feed up so i went to a dermatologist. When I visited him he told em about a product call ROACCUTANE He told me all about the product and told me that if i used it i would see results and i started using it from March 1st and within the first 2 days i started seeing results and presently i have NO pimples on my face and guess what? i was pimple free near a month or two of using it. The best thing about Roaccutane is that it isnt a 4-5 step thing beside a toner mask and other unnecessary things it is just one pill that has to me taken respectively day afetr a meal. I advice that you be in motion to the dermatologist and ask about Roacutanne cuz it did wonders for me when nothing else did. Hope I helped! =]

Proactiv did not work for me. I went to the doctor and he give me a special type of face wash that worked really well. My warning is to see a doctor if it bothers you.

I have used proactive, and it did work until i stopped using it. After i stopped i got pimples, but i will neevr move about back to proactive, stop using it! its not worth it.. its making it worse!! believe me.. just go to a pharmacy and experiment next to diferent kind of face washes, thats what i did and i found one that works great for my skin and immediately i dont have alot of pimples :) just try to find the one taht works for you. The major reason for pimples is that they are caused by the oil on your skin. More grease on your skin means more pimples build up underneath the layers because they're attracted to the moisture.
