I am worried that I might win the Swine Flu?
I go to Sunbury Secondary College in Sunbury, Victoria, Australia. Yesterday it was confirmed that a year 11 within our school was confirmed to have swine flu and a document was sent home about it. I am in year eight and today two girls surrounded by the form 8A got sent home from suspected swine flu. These two girls are best friends with a girl in my level who is my friend and I sit next to. She says that her two friends messaged her and said that the doctor says it is fundamentally likey that they have the swine flu. My friend says she is feeling sick herself, and she have been sneezing near me. I am getting a little worried that I might seize the Swine Flu!! I feel like i have a touch bit of a temprature right now.Gulp. Help?

Just keep an eye out for the symptoms: *Fever (usually difficult than 100) *Runny nose *Coughing *Sore throat *Fatigue *Vomiting (sometimes) *Diarrhea (sometimes) If you start to develop any of them, stay home from school, drink lots of clear fluids, get lots of sleep, and give the name your doctor. They will tell you wether or not to seek medical attetion. Also try to avoid family member as much as possible, so they don't become sick as well. Good luck!

I think it might be a spider bite because I found a small, brown spider in my house. The bite is about the size of a dime and it's flat on the skin. It's red on the outside and white and flaky within the middle.

Kelly, I feel really bad for you. I'm sorry they don't see to be closing schools in Australia. If they would just close the school for 5 days, they would be able to sort through who is sick and have them stay home. In Australia you are just purely beginning the flu season. It is very important that they hold infected students stay home. Perhaps school officials would listen to parents. Have your parents contact the school board and insist that they close the institution for 5 days. you get sick with influenza, CDC recommends that you stay home from work or university and limit contact with others to keep from infecting them.
