AAAAAHHHH! I enjoy Chicken Pox and I'm 17 years? Is this fatal?
I woke up this morning and looked at myself in the mirror and to my great horror and shock my face be covered in bumps everywhere! I made a doctors appointment, but that's tomorrow. The itchiness is overwhelming and the pain is mind-boggling!
My question is, since I have the disease at a behind schedule age, will it be dangerous in any route? Is there a risk that I will become sterile? I am almost 18?

Answers: Chicken pox has no effect on the reproductive system. Use Calamine lotion or Benadryl spray (diphenhydramine topical) for the itching. You could also use Benadryl (or generic) oral. Aveeno oatmeal hip bath products can also be very helpful and so can cold compresses. Tylenol for stomach-ache.
Although most people who get chicken pox are 12 and lower than, anyone can get it. Is it dangerous? Not really.
Complications are sporadic and are usually secondary infections
from scratching the blisters or scabs.
You may enjoy chicken pox but wait until you've seen your doctor and hold been diagnosed before you inform populace. There's always the possibility this could be something else.
Stay away from pregnant women and Babies! This is going to be a bit rough on you at this age .They have a over the counter oatmeal hip bath that you can soak in. and try calamine lotion for the itching.Where loose cloths.You should not really go out anywhere til adjectives the chicken pox scab over because you re very contagious.There is nothing the Dr can do for you,Other than confirm that you enjoy the chicken pox.Don't scratch hard or you will check out of scars. Your fine, its purely gonna suck to have it right now thats adjectives. I'm 22 and have never had chickenpox no thing how hard I tried to get it. But I get vaccinated for it later, since I hear that help make it not so bad should i achieve it later Its not as serious as you think, the elder you get the more dangerous it is but it will be fine, basically see what your doc says.
The older you acquire the more you worry about the mode you look! People don't die or become sterile from the chicken pox. You'll be fine, in the meantime take a oatmeal tub to help with the itching.
