Abnormal Pap, HPV pos and Pre-cancer lesion?

Ok, so if I wasn't depressed before I am now! I basically got a call from my GYN and he said that the pap I took on the 5th come back as pre-cancer lesions. I without delay schedules a colposcopy appointment for next Wednesday and appreciatively my fiance can come with me. I just enjoy no idea what to expect when I get within, is it painful? I heard you bleed deeply afterward is that true? And what happens afterward OR do they immediately try to bring back rid of whatever they find? I am kinda confused, but seeing as I am at work I didn't want to spend too much time on the phone with the doctor, and I be already in tears so I couldn't even speak. Am I just overreacting? Is this not as big of a settlement as it feels? If you or anyone your know has gone through this please permit me know what I should be feeling right now.

Oral includes handjobs, right?

Answers:    It is terrifically common for paps to come back extraordinary. A colposcopy can be painful, so I suggest you take an Aleve 30 min formerly your appointment. Basically they will scrape your cervix, and they will send those results to the lab for more carrying out tests. That could possibly be the end of it, or it could come back as something more. If it does come hindmost as more, then you will go into surgery. The surgery is exceedingly routine. You won't even spend the night in the hospital, you will be surrounded by and out in one day.

I am 24 and I go through a colposcopy and I came back fine. My mom certainly had to get the surgery, along near my best friend, and they are both fine.

Dont worry sweetie -- you will be okay... this is totally normal!!

About mucus...?

You don't bleed abundantly, I didn't bleed at all, but I did have this obscurity colored discharge which was some kind of soft from the procedure, it wasn't even enough that I needed a pad for. As for the procedure itself, it didn't pinch long and I didn't have any pain, lately some very mild period close to cramps. Calm down, it's actually pretty common and I'm sure you'll be fine You are not over react. When it comes to your health, of course we frenzy. I went through the same entry about 7 years ago. I had an anomalous pap, positive for hpv and after a colposcopy was diagnosed as Cin III(pre-cancerous cells on cervix). I'm a verbs wart so you can imagine how I reacted to this communication! I ended up having a cone biopsy done which removed adjectives bad cells. I have to have paps every 6 months for 2 years and then support to my yearly. Everyone has be ok since thank god. None of the procedure are that bad at all. It's not a amble in the park, but they're tolerable. I always took a motrin an hour or so formerly hand. I found out that a lot of women progress through this and it's more common that what I thought. You will be fine. The important entity is that you're going to get your paps. Anything they find early, can be and will be treated. Take comfort.

Is Claritin-D worthy for you... What are the side effects?

First of all this is common, but you own every right to feel concerned. I had like thing 12 years ago, I had a cone biopsy and be told I may not be able to hold a pregnancy, but I have since have two healthy children and I have not have anymore abnormal paps. I am not sure how much bleeding you'll have, if any. The Dr. will review the tissue she removes to build sure they got all the precanerous cell around the lesions. This should be the only procedure you hold to get rid of the cells. The devout news is this is pre-cancerous cells and not cancer, so catching this rash is wonderful. You will have routine paps every 3 months for a year or so, then every 6 months and later resume annually if all has be good through this. Good luck, trust your doctor, many enjoy gone through this, but it is scary!!
