About 2 months ago i get an industeraial piercing, and at hand is a bump on the top?
i have tried to pop thinking there would a moment ago be puss in it and would go away, but it hasnt and it simply bleeds and stays there.
what can i do to make it run away
Answers: It could be an infection from any sort of dirt or not cleaning it properly to begin with. I be told that I would get that on my nose (I hold a little stud on the side of my nose) piercing but I never got it - although when I get it I always cleaned it out with ocean salt/warm water on the outside and just reheat water on the inside.
If I were you, tonight until that time you go to bed, get some ocean salt and dissolve it onto some warm/hot water. Mix it around and next to a q-tip, dip it in and apply it to both sides of the piercing. Do this tomorrow morning before school/work and next again before you go to bed. Try not to overclean it though. Another trick I enjoy heard is taking an asprin and crushing it up and make a bit of a smooth mixture with some water and putting it on. For me, the deep-sea salt (or epsom salts if you hold any - both do the same thing) works GREAT (worked well for when I get 2 teeth pulled too).
Clean it out especially if you have been working around contained by dirt/sweat - I know that ever since I have begun working outside and at a horse barn, I hold had to use some sea salt and warm water on my piercings (every once surrounded by awhile) since I have now adjectives my nose several times and am always covered surrounded by dirt and grime.
that bump is a form of a scar. It may never go away. I feel the previous poster knows what he/she's talking roughly speaking though.
Sea salt is a very worthy idea. Bacteria can not survive in a brackish enviroment.
If you play with the piercing.. take it out, transfer it, touch it too much etc, it will cause a bump looking scar...
best of luck to you!
