Can cigarette smoke disrupt your eyes?

I don't smoke...honestly...but my mother does

i know its bad for my lungs (and hers but theres nothing i can do in the region of her)
but i was wondering is it bad for your eyes also?

I dont believe so, I'm 27 and have been smoking since age 13 and hold been smoking a pack a day since age 16. I have an eye appointment last year and still have 20/20 phantasm.
