Chronic fatigue syndrome inhertited?

My mum has been suffering from M.E (aka CFS) for yesteryear 8 years, recently i have consideration i have been suffering from some of the start symptoms of M.E. (exhaustion after activities which dont normally tire me ie walking up stairs, wishy-washy sensitivity, nausea, dizzy spells and headaches.) however i went to the doctors and she say it may be post-exam exhaustion, but wants to monitor it over the subsequent 7 weeks.
I was wondering can you inherit CFS from a parent?
