Diabetics and pre-diabetic syptoms? What are they?

I went to the doctor today. I have to shift every three months to check my liver and i think i checked my cholesterol and liver during my visit today. I have a sneaking suspicion that i checked my cholesterol and liver last time or maybe it be just the liver. I think they did some other test. Last time, i was certain that they would solitary do the test where you did not hold to fast but i forgot and had eat a little something kind of. My blood glucose even was elevated last time because i be not exactly fasting. I did admit that to the doctor but he said it be only two points. My goal is to lose fifteen pounds inside the next month or so cause i know i am roughly speaking twenty pounds over weight. The doctor scheduled me for a diabetic exam which i thought was strange and it told him i have not be showing symptoms of diabetes. Is it possible that a person could just be pre-diabetic and not show syptoms or would they also show symptoms if they are pre-diabetic?
