Effects of TB?
how does TB affect the human body?
Answers: Basically it forms scar tissue in critical areas like the lung. Symptoms that would alert you are sudden loss of weight and hours of darkness sweats, bad cough etc
The bacteria, mycobacterium TB are a amazingly old organism and have a fatty exterior that the bodies immune system cannot digest as the bodies enzymes work against river soluble substances only. So the body decides to wall rotten the bacteria when it encounters them and you develop cysts contained by your lung that reduce the amount of lung available for oxygen uptake
Its a slow growing bacteria but its treated all right...about 9 months of taking antibiotics ...usually 3 to start and then reduced to two antibiotics after drug sensitivity results come surrounded by.
You can get TB basically anywhere...even a meningitis to be precise hard to diagnose by spinal tap( only sign = reduced glucose surrounded by cerebrspinal fluid) and is treated over 9 months also with possible surgery to introduce a vp shunt device to drain off excess fluid surrounded by the brain
TB is also emerging in HIV positive people due to their immune problems and contained by people who have transplants and are exposed to it. The vaccine BCG is useless and its better not to be vaccinate so that a positive mantoux test/ heaf test will immediately distribute a diagnosis and allow early drug treatment
