Answers:    Are you a caffeine drinker?Colas.coffee ect. These can impose rapid heart rate and palpations.I(years ago)had hyperthyroidism and was treated beside radia-active drugs but only after bloodwork and thyroid uptake test.showed it.
I have sever symptons-tremors in tounge-sometimes hands and legs -also cause pencile size stools-a constant cleaning under finger nails next to another nail-As you were advised within another comment-yes go back to your doctor and shift from there as most endocrinologist need a referral.
Good luck-With the treatment I have you do gain wieght if your not careful and later down the road enjoy low thyroid and have to take thyroid meds but your thyroid plays an drastically important role in your body so cause sure its ok.

Visit an endocrinologist. They know what to look for in the blood work. There are a wide multiplicity of blood tests so there's no telling which ones the doctor have requested for you. Also, ER docs are trained to patch and release. You are expected to follow up with your regular doctor for a more detailed examination to find the root incentive. they should have looked for it. I was overactive and i found out because of my fast heartbeat and palpitations. I would suggest some more blood tests if they havent already dont thyroid, but if they have you may enjoy something else.
