Ive have a reflux problem for times gone by month or so and have trouble swallowing food and headache contained by the throat.?

Since i have been on my medication, nexium, i havent really have any pain but last dark i went to drink from a straw and i think (not sure) but some plastic might hold come off the straw as it was lifeless off as it had be cut and i think i may have swallowed it. I enjoy this pain in the not here side of my throat and a pain in the departed side of my chest. Does this have anything to do with the plastic or am i a moment ago being paranoid about it? Is at hand any way that the plastic could have gone down the wrong process and got stuck?
PLEASE HELP!
should i go and see a doctor?

I enjoy a bunch of little bumps down the hindmost of my throat?

Answers:    Pain contained by throat doesn't seem to be related to plastic even if you could have accidentally swallowed it. Throat cramp could either be due to some local infection or irritation caused by sharp stop of straw.

Origin of chest pain could be your reflux problem especially depending your age & other medical history. Acidity sometimes causes spasm of food-pipe (esophagus) resulting within chest pain.

My advice would be to dance see your family physician. He would be able to identify the rationale of throat pain and also localize cause of chest niggle with an EKG or something like that.

First of adjectives I would suggest going to see your doctor.
Pain, as said before can be caused by irritation of the esophagus by the stomach acids. As the sites of irritation and ruin from reflux heal they can form scar tissue which narrow the esophagus making it harder to swallow. You may have to have an esophageal dilation.
