Leukemia hospital stay. Is 6 months regular?
My best friend who is 32 was diagnosed with Leukemia on Wednesday, she is surrounded by Whiston Hospital in Merseyside. The Doctor's have told her to expect to be within the hospital for a six month stay, she will get 'day passes' for a few hours when they think she's up to it. She starts Chemo on Monday. A six month stay seem a very long time, has anyone else have a similar experience?
