Mammograms and BRCA1/BRCA2 carrying out tests?

I'm 20 (almost 21) and have a strong family history of breast cancer. I head a really healthy lifestyle (I don't drink or smoke, I eat strong, and I work out regularly, also do monthly BSE's). My mom thinks I need to start getting mammograms NOW, but everything I've read say that it is highly unusual to do so. Is this something I should talk to my gynecologist roughly? Also, my aunt's gynecologist recommended that all of the women in our domestic get tested for a gene related to issues with our ovaries...how do I bring this up next to my doc? Lastly, has anyone out there get tested for BRCA1 and BRCA2...I'm not worried about a blood test, but I enjoy mixed feelings about doing it. I guess I'm not really sure I want to know if I own the gene or not.

Sorry I'm rambling, just for a time confused right now.

P.S. I know all insurance companies are different...but what do you muse the likelihood of Aetna paying for any of the above is?

Can u contract an std while playing next to respectively other?

Answers:    If you doctor orders the BRCA oral exam, then Aetna will pay for it. I hold Aetna, and while I have not had that oral exam, they have paid the full negotiate amount for every test and treatment my docs have ordered over olden times 6+ months of my breast cancer treatment.

If you are positive for BRCA, then I would definitely obtain an annual mammogram.

Small, red bump by genitals? please give a hand!?

I have had 2 rounds of Hodgkin's Disease and immediately Breast Cancer, my Doctor recommended that I get tested to see if I had the gene. They run the blood test and then dispatch to Cali and BEFORE they run the test they call your insurance company and find out how much will be covered. I be fortunate enough to have mine covered 100%. Once they capture the amount from the Insurance company they call you and tell you how much, if anything the experiment will cost you. It is then your choice to get the exam completed or not. I was tested and I do not carry the mutant gene! I hope you dont any.
