My diaphragm hurts after coughing and throwing up...?

Bad stomach bug going around, and I've been coughing from allergies. My diaphragm hurts pretty bad, at most minuscule thats what i think hurts(when i breath in, right underneath the ribs..)

Answers:    well the diaphragm is contracting when throwing up and coughing, so if you do it a lot, its going to be sore. sometimes when you achieve a bug, it makes muscles sore, and the diapragm is a muscle
