Who is at most risk of Cardiac disease?

Answers:    The relationship described as codominance describes a relationship where the distinct phenotypes caused by respectively allele are both seen when both alleles are present.

In codominance, neither phenotype is recessive. Instead, the heterozygous individual expresses both phenotypes.

What codominance implies for sickle cell anemia is that the heterozygous individual (sickle cell trait) is not as artificial as the homozygous recessive individual (sickle cell disease), yet is more affected than the homozygous dominant (normal) individual. This is different from the situation of pure dominance, where on earth a recessive trait must be homozygous to be expressed, and the heterozygous individual (trait carrier) appears normal.
