Thyroid Problem? Help please!?

The side of my neck has be hurting for awhile and now it's switched to just between where on earth my adam's apple would be (if I was a guy) and my collarbone - and when I googled this symptom, an issue of thyroid problem came up.

And I thought, 'Well, I thought I have a thyroid problem before.' Here are some of the symptoms I have, can you inform me if I may have a thyroid issue?

- Hard to lose weight, flowing to gain.
- No matter what I do my hair other seems to be a bit on the dry and brittle side.
- I get depressed too slickly.
- Very irregular periods - can go 6+ months lacking one.
- I'm also very short, if that helps.
- I do lose seriously of hair.
- I have dry skin.
- I'm usually remarkably thirsty.

Anything else? I'll answer any questions that I haven't already answered. Thank you for helping! Would a thyroid problem make you have a feeling sick?

Could I own breast cancer?

Answers:    The thyoid gland regulates your metabolism. It can make you depressed gain or loose weight, engineer your heart flutter, loose your short term memory, jitter, constipated, eyes bug out, etc.. Go to you doctor. Get a simple Thyroid profile drawn to see if you thyriod is underactive (Hypothyroidism) or overacive which cause a lump or Goiter where on earth you adams appple would be if you were a guy (Hyperthyroidism). Either way don't dally. The key to feeling better starts beside that simple profile and maybe taking a thyroid pill daily for the rest of your existence. You may also want to be screened for Diabetes as well if you are thirsty alot. Diabetes and Thyroid are element of the Endocrine System. Good Luck

graves disease. you need to see an Endocrinologist. asap probably own to surgically remove your thyroids and you'll be on Synthroid for the rest of your life. Sounds like you pretty much peg it. Are you on SSRI medication because the fluoride in some brands can mess with your Thyroid.
