(True story) A mom called the poison control and said that her daughter had drinking some ants-the poison control said it was nothing to verbs about, but then the mom also said that she give her some ant poison to kill the ants-the poison control said to take her to the doctor right away.
Answers: i go to my brother's house and he had ant traps on the floor by the door. My toddler picked one up and put it in her mouth. (One of those plastic hexagonal things.)
I freaked! i quickly called poison control. They said the same article. No harm. They said that the hexagonal square has mostly food surrounded by it. I watched her like a hawk for 24 hours and nought happened. Needless to say, we picked up adjectives the traps and put them down again before we left.

the approach you wrote your question is that the mother gave her the poison to waste the ants. You didn't say that the child ingested it to kill the ants. That purely doesn't make sense. I wouldn't let my children knob ant poison or their traps. But you didn't say in the second shield that the child was purposely given the ant poison to eat it. if so, I agree beside everyone else, CYS has to be called.
I dream up the mother should be more cautious about using ant poison around her child and she should also be watching her child a moment or two better to prevent her from eating bugs.
Poison control pretty much has to right to be heard take the kid to the doctor, but I doubt the child ingested much poison from nibbling on a few ants. The mom could own dosed her with ipecac syrup to make her vomit up the bugs if she be really worried and watched her for any symptoms. I think that the mother should own CYF called on her, and she should go to jail- PRONTO!!! Why would you hold the lack of common sense to do anything resembling that?? What kind of drug is she on??? UGG!! that bothers me!! :)
I tink some mom hates going to the hospital, or know nothing of common medical sense. I know not to do that! and i enjoy no training in anything medically related! This is an urban legend story that have been going around for years... Maybe based on truth, but this is not a recent account at all. I think I first hear it over a decade ago.
