Answers: I'm not sure what you are referring to, there is never part of the surf missing. There may be a flat T wave, partial or flat P wave or the ST segment may dip below 1mm, contained by V1, V2, or V3. But no part of the wave is "missing." The most important thing to look for is a wide or lengthened QT interval. It is a limp give away.
