What to do roughly self congested?

I've been congested for a month now. I go to my doctor and he said i had an upper respiratory infection. So, he gave me some antibiotics and told me to use Musinex for a week. I did adjectives of that and I'm still having problems. Now my throat hurts from coughing so much. But hardly ever does anything come up when I cough. Sometimes I cough so not easy i make myself sick or can't catch my breath. Any concept??? Should I just go put a bet on to my doctor?

How long can I carry by doing this?


Answers:    Yes!!! You definitely should go pay for to the doctor. He/she doesn't know if your not getting any better or worse unless you tell them. Your doctor may prescribe you a cough medicine near codiene to help calm the cough or even an inhaler to oblige open your bronchial tubes. Which ever it is, make sure that you ask question. Perhaps you could take a friend with you to oblige remember things and act as an advocate. You might even have need of to have your antibiotic changed if it's not working by immediately.

All of that comes with an infection like that, especially the cough that kill your throat/makes you gag after coughing so much.

Z-packs and amoxicillin work for me. Mucinex doesn't do much for me either during an infection.

Antibiotics are the best stuff for infections, and they usually have to run their course =X
