Why is my feces green sometimes?
I don't want to say anything to my Dr. it's embarrasing.
Answers: It's probably from something you ate, grape pop can do it! Speak to your Dr. if you are worried, the Dr. has other heard something more embarrasing than what you have to bring up to date him/her. :)
When you eat something that your body digests quickly, after you have bowel movements that may be green. In our digestive system there is bile, which is a chemical that help with digestion. If your small intestines and large instestines move the food through too promptly, the process of digestion does not have enough time to bring all nutrients out, nor digest thoroughly, which will lead to what you are experiencing. It is completely usual and nothing to worry almost unless it is accompanied by diarrhea for a long period of time.
Something that might also be cause this is a diet high in greens, such as lettuce, celery, etc. 1)the food you ate, collard greens, or some other green
2)or you are constipated and it is in fact concentrated bile(green in color) on the feces,
look into your diet, sometimes having to much of one point can cause it.. such as eating to copious carrots over a period will rationale your whole body to have a ginger hue to it.
