Will my ear take infected?

my friend pierced my 2nd hole yesterday with an earring you'd use when you get it done by a piecring place it have the point on it. we cleaned my ear, and the earrings. they hurt today but isnt that normal? cause whenever you seize piercings they always hurt? but im scared basis she did it and not a piecring place. Are they gonna get infected? plus my mom doesnt even know she did it or i have it...I asked my mom months ago to pocket me and she doesnt like more then one piercing so my friend did her own matching way and i let her do mine too. be going on vacation in a week so shes gonna see it! what if it get infected when were on vacation???

Answers:    I did alike thing when I was younger and my mom flipped. haha However, knowing what I immediately know about piercings and bacteria, I do not recommend or back up self-piercing (or getting it done at the mall, for that matter). Don't put hydrogen peroxide or Neosporin-type goop on it. Sea salt + marine is what a lot of people recommend, but that may dry it out too much. If that happen, call a body piercing shop in your nouns and ask what they recommend. If it seems like it's getting infected, you're going to hold to come clean with your mom...unless you really want to pause up with disfigured earlobes. She'll probably notice eventually, anyway.
