Anyone ever have a "ribhead" inconsistent contained by their spinal column?
Okay out of nowhere, like 2 weeks ago, I had constant pain below my left shoulder blade. It was like an achey backache and just wouldnt go away. I went to the chiropractor presently, 3 times total, and she would crack it, then use this thing that pops things back within place, and then put some Biofreeze (like icy hot) on it and send me on my way.
I am reallllly annoyed, b/c the cramp is still here. All day long its there and it wont go away. It hurts, and its discomfited, and I wiggle and squirm all day to try to find posiitions that relieve. Nothing helps! All I want to do is for it to NOT hurt and be able to sit up and watch a movie, or sit and read a book. Its to the point where on earth I lay in bed ALL day so I wont have to obverse the pain, cuz the only thing that help is laying down in my bed.
The worst part of it adjectives, is that im 7 weeks pregnant and feel crappy from morning sickness. The chiro cant do any xrays cuz im preggo, and im stuck with this pain. She said it be a ribhead or something and they are common, but how much longer till the pain goes away?

Best Answer: It may help yourself to months for that to heal and stay in place. A bone becomes miss-aligned any from trauma or an overly tight muscle which moves the bone or loose muscle which cannot contract properly. The doctor can adjust you and put it back into proper alignment, but the muscle tissue responsible needs either to be stretched or strengthened to keep hold of it in position. Sometimes it is more than one muscle or group involved. What about Yoga for pregnancy or massage? Be thrifty with using too much ice therapy. You can incentive damage to tissues. I'm not a fan of ice cups one used during pregnancy. Just approach everything in moderation. Breathing exercises can help to. 3 part breath also prearranged as Yogic breath will really relax the tissue. It is best to have a RYT show you in person. I'm sure any educationalist with prenatal experience would be happy to help. But a few classes would do you biddable. Just make sure you have your doctors permission up to that time You start anything new. Your local JC, Y or Community Center normally will have some one qualified.

ok well get a friend to get an rime cup and stand up and whichever side of your back it is let your friend ice your shoulder blade and down similar to a couple inches but for now get like some rime ok and put it under your shirt and lay down on it and put it where the spot is lay there for twenty minutes after get up and take it out of your shirt and see how it feels do this atleast for times today 20 on and 40 minutes of not icing and tomorrow find a friend to ice your shoulder blade if you have any other questions ask me at donaldwhthd(a)yahoo.com and don't be in motion to the chiropractor anymore because I know it helps but one there expensive and two they don't solve the underline problem because adjectives they do is just pull the muscles near your should blade and form the spasm but if you shoulder blade isn't fully numb at the end of the twenty minutes go for like 5 or ten more that's the max no more next that

I'm so sorry that you're within pain from the rib and having morning sickness on top of it! I have a dislocated rib last year, and it actually took several months to move back into place. My chiropractor in actuality didn't do any "cracking;" she worked with the muscles in my torso and arms just to get hold of things a little more flexible and mobile to allow the rib to shift back into the socket. I also used Capsaicin, which some people don't similar to because of the burning sensation, but it blocks the nerves so it's certainly distracting from the rib pain. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
