It's pretty simple:
I'm having sorts of chest pains right? Well I've been going to this cardiologist for quite a few visit, but we can't figure anything out. Anyhoo though now he wants me to obtain some chest xrays (which i was supposed to do first) and go get some blood work done. My request for information is though- In the results from my blood work, will marijuana show up on my cardiologists report??
Best Answer: CXR( Chest x-ray ) can reveal if your chest pain is from pulmonary infarction, pneumonia, myocardial ischemia, chest wall pain from bone infarction, or as part of the diffuse niggle of pain crisis. Esophageal disease, peptic ulcer disease, pancreatitis and gall bladder disease can occasionally result in chest pain. However, chest pains are not necessarily conclusive of a cardiac disease; angina; CHF ; chest syndrome or asthma.. A chest X-ray is used to help find the cause of symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, or chest misery. It can detect signs of asthma, pneumonia, a collapsed lung, heart problems (such as an enlarged heart), and broken ribs or lung damage after an injury. Present medications, allergies, smoking and recreational drugs,such as marijuana won't show in any blood work. Unless specifically tested for.contained by a drug screen. A cardiologist report can document your marijuana use if you provide him with that information.
