I can't sleep surrounded by the poorly lit. What shall I do?
For as long as I can remember I've always struggled to sleep in the dark. If I sleep within the dark I don't get to sleep until stupid times like 3 or 4 within the morning. If I sleep with the light on I can get to sleep almost straight away. But it seem so silly having a light on all hours of darkness when all I'm going to do is sleep because it wastes a lot of money. Anyone enjoy any ideas of what I could do to help me sleep in the bleak or a free way to have a light when I'm sleeping? Thanks. x
Best Answer: Put a timer to the socket for a table oil lamp in your room to switch off by itself, say, one hour after you go into bed. Also, use the low energy light bulb. It will hardly use much electricity contained by that hour.

I can't sleep at darkness if my tv is on.. I set the timer on it and that usually puts me to sleep or I'll wake up the next morning and my tv's still on.. if you don't have the tv contained by your room try a night light possibly? best of luck
