Can't sleep due to thud, can anyone recommend biddable earplugs?

I've always been a light sleeper, but surrounded by summer, because my room gets so hot, I have to leave my pane wide open. This causes problems because I'm other woken early by the tweeting of the birds and traffic rushing by - I live on a main road. It's then really hard for me to get back to sleep because of the swish and the brightness. I've tried wax earplugs and foamy ones, but the foam ones fall out and the wax ones really hurt my ears. Can anyone recommend any really good earplugs that won't fall out and will block pretty much adjectives sound? Or alternatively, as I'm probably putting the foam ones in wrong if they fall out, can anyone bring up to date me how to do it properly? Thanks :) Moving out is not an option as I can't afford it and the house is in a convenient (if noisy) location.
Best Answer: You don't have to use ear plugs. What you could do is own an MP3 player and put on the ear phones that will block out the noise and you can play relaxing music.

How can i go down asleep?

Instead of earplugs, I'd recommend a realtor. You need to move out of your house on the main road and into a sluggish subdivision. I'll never understand why they build houses on main roads in the first place.
