Best Answer: Laying on their left side usually. Left arm pointing past the go before. Right arm cradling the head. And the left leg is straight, along with the right leg self bent. Like sleeping on your side almost. People who are drunk/sick usually end up putting themselves in the recovery position. Fort Prefect is right. This position is also used for post-seizure patients. It should NEVER be used beside someone who has a neck, head or spinal injury. When a character is in recovery position, it also makes it much easier to save the airway clear should the patient vomit. EMTwhy do my knees bring back sore?
