Help me! Do you estimate this injury is eternal?
Okay, so yesterday I was taking a shower and my allergies were driving me insane. My nose be itching so I rubbed it with the side of my hand and my nail sort of scraped it while I be rubbing it (Yes, I rub my nose to satisfy its itchy-ness). It didn't hurt at the time so I didn't think it be anything bad and my nose continued to itch. When I got out of the shower, I looked surrounded by the mirror and there is now a large collect on the side of my nose. I put Neosporin on it but it doesn't seem to be getting better. I also overheard my mom dictum that it may be permanent!??!?! I know it takes time to heal, but do you guess something like this could be permanent? The skin may have peel off due to my rubbing and itching, plus my nail scraping it. Would this scar/injury be lasting? If so, what should I do about it? It isn't VERY large but it's very conspicuous and I would hate for it to be like this forever!
Best Answer: Doubtful whether a minor scrape on your feeler from rubbing will become a permanent scar unless you actually gouge out a huge chunk of skin (which it does not sound like). It is an abrasion (rubbing away of skin). It is best to just leave it alone. When you bathe your face it may sting if you apply soap to that area. In about a week, it will be gone and heal.

if it does become a scar you can use mederma to get rid of it. though i highly doubt it will become a defacement. a couple years ago some one clawed my face and it left a huge noticable scab on my cheek and cheek bone. my grandmother got me some nature of face scrub, i was using it at the time and i noticed it made the scab step away extremely fast it looked like it was gonna quit a scar but it didnt. i cant remember what the face wash be but it was something like appricot face mop up (with the sand-like stuff in it) wash your face near it and it should go away.

well i wouldn't think it would be perminanent unless at hand was some kind of infection. in that armour you could rub some antibacterial ointment on the inside of your nose with a Qu tip. but the safest article to do if it doesnt start to clear up soon would be to go to the docter. they may be able to perscribe you with something somewhat stronger that could clear it up better that neosporinI get really desperate cramps, i can't sleep,...
It won't be permanent. Exact same thing happened to me since. I did that in the shower. Also when I woke up one morning I had a scab on the side of my nose, that I guessed be from itching it in the middle of the night. Trust me, it's not like that would be irremediable. It will obviously heal.My fucking eye keep twitching!?
no should not be permanent it semi-muccous membrane will nick a little longer but it will heal keep up next to the neosporinif it does become a scar you can use mederma to get rid of it. though i highly doubt it will become a defacement. a couple years ago some one clawed my face and it left a huge noticable scab on my cheek and cheek bone. my grandmother got me some nature of face scrub, i was using it at the time and i noticed it made the scab step away extremely fast it looked like it was gonna quit a scar but it didnt. i cant remember what the face wash be but it was something like appricot face mop up (with the sand-like stuff in it) wash your face near it and it should go away.
