Best Answer: If your ear is hurting that impossible, then you might have perforated your ear drum. It can surface when water is forcefully pushed into your ear as you described, or most often when kids are playing with those large powered water guns and shoot it into another person's ear. You probably should see a doctor, but if you have antibiotic ear drops you must have already done that. If explicitly what you were prescribed, and you can't get them in, later go back to the doctor because they were given to you to prevent infection. You can use a home remedy if you can return with it into your ear. Use a mixture of 1/2 alcohol and 1/2 vinegar (plain ordinary apple cider vinegar works best). I get a paper towel to sop up the mixture, lean my manager to the side, and squeeze the mixture into my ear. Caution: Don't get it in your eyes. Use a dry washcloth or small towel between your eyes and ears on the side of your face to oblige. Let it sit for a few minutes, drain. The alcohol will kill any germs, as well as dry up any water contained by your ears, and the vinegar acts as a natural skin softener and helps so that the alcohol doesn't discern like it's burning the inside of your ear. Don't ever put pure alcohol into your ears because one: It burns and two: it can cause dermatitis of the inner ear (by drying it out), which is no fun. If you think in attendance is excess wax in your ears, try using a mixture of 1/2 very warm marine and 1/2 hydrogen peroxide. Use the above method to get it into your ears, again caution not to get it into your eyes. You'll hear popping noise, but that is just the hydrogen peroxide cleaning out the excess cerumen (wax) in your ear. Hope this help and your ear feels better soon!
