What is the difference between Tylenol next to Codeine #3 and Tylenol next to Codeine #4?
What is the difference between Tylenol with Codeine #3 and Tylenol with Codeine #4?
I was prescribed Tylenol next to Codeine #4 for some dental pain. In the past, for pain from tooth pulling and sense tooth removal, I had been prescribed Tylenol with Codeine #3. What is the difference? Is one stronger? Which one? I be told it has something to do with the tylenol to codeine ratio, but does that mean the #4 is stronger or the #3?
Best Answer: Tylenol #4 have twice as much codeine as Tylenol #3, namely 60mg compared to 30mg. So, yes, Tylenol #4 is the stronger pain medication.
