Is my knuckle broken? How can I support it?
Today I punched the wall out of frustration:/
Now its very swollen and bruised.
I can almost put it in a fist though, but it hurst extremely bad.
What do you suppose?

Best Answer: Probably put your hand in a cast. If you can almost kind a fist it sounds as if they are very badly bruised. Put an ice pack on them to shrink some of the inflammation, if you haven't get one make one by crushing some ice and put it in a plastic rucksack. Keep doing this for 48 hours at intervals. Keep your hand as still as possible you do not want to aggravate the situation. Ibuprofen will also help with the inflammation as powerfully as the pain. After this time you should start to feel a little nouns but it is going to take some time to completely heal. In the meantime either stay away from walls or do not bring frustrated. If there is no improvement sure go return with it x-rayed but if you can almost make a fist now you will probably be ok with rime and rest.
