Is the time you sleep cumulative? Or must it be that 6-8 hour block?

Can you sleep 2 hours at one point in the afternoon then another 4 hours possibly and still be well rested for the following daylight? Or does your body need that full block of time to rest itself?
Best Answer: You need to go through adjectives the stages of sleep including the deeper stages which can take a while, so you couldn't sleep in hour blocks and be well rested. I'm sure it depends on the party though.
