Why doesn't my doctor want to drain fluids from my knees?
I have a hyper extended knee and its all swollen because my doctor told me it be full of fluid
and he didn't want to take a needle and drain it why
he just give me some stupid knee brace thing and said it should be fine in 2 weeks
Best Answer: Some of the fluids could drain inherently, the only way they are going to drain it is if the fluid is under the knees cap and causing damage. If the fluid is not starting to budge down in 4 days or more, then i would reccomend going back to the doctor.
